We are the main influence on our teenagers’ future. Discovering we are not alone in the challenges we face and picking up ideas from other parents can make a huge difference.
Meeting our teenagers’ deepest needs, setting healthy boundaries, helping to develop their emotional health, and teaching them how to make good choices takes skill and dedication.
Alpha Youth Series is designed to engage students in conversations about life and faith.
Discussion time is interspersed throughout the short talks to make it simpler for them to share their thoughts and questions.
This can be run as a 6-7 week course dependent on the focal age of the group.

Mindfulness is a mental state achieved by focusing one’s awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one’s feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations, and is used as a therapeutic technique.
There is more than one way to practice mindfulness, but the goal of any mindfulness technique is to achieve a state of alert, focused relaxation by deliberately paying attention to thoughts and sensations without judgment. This allows the mind to refocus on the present moment.
The greatest achievements in life take practice, training, and dedication. A strong, loving, lifelong relationship doesn’t happen by chance. It takes effort and dedication to keep the fun and romance alive. We can all learn how to make even the happiest relationship better.
